So recently as you may or may not have heard, AOL released a lot of it’s search data for some 658,000 users or something crazy, (Article Here).

Anyway, i obviously had to have a little looksie.  It’s honestly scary.

I used www.aolstalker.com becaues they had a nice little user interface, and i’m lazy.

So, what did i find? 99.9% of people have searched for “Paris Hilton”  I’m sure by even mentioning this, my blog has increased 5% in google search results.  Crazy huh?  I’m serious though.

I personally like person #359897, they’re obviously interesting in a lot of different things, from James Blunt (?) to the movie “The Note Book” even to things like “Early Signs you have AIDS”.. then the weird stuff, they apparently were adopted in 1988.  They care A LOT about flight records from 88, and adoption information from 1988 in and around waco texas.  There’s a few hits on Flight 218, august 12, 1988.   They were apparently born on august 7th, 1988, or something because they searched for births on august 7th.  Maybe to find their orignial last name?? Who knows, other than they either have Aids, or Anema they think.

There was another user i came acrossed who apparently had a thing for horses, girls, and puffy body parts?
The whole thing seriously makes me a little sick.  There’s a few other articles out there were they found a person who was searching for how to murder your wife… and not just a few times, but like 10,000 times in the last 2 months…

I have mixed feelings about it.  I am though, leaning to think people need to be accountable to some degree for their actions.  If you’re surfing for how to murder your wife in one window, and perhaps filling out adoption forms on the other window?  Whats wrong with this picture?
